SHOE STOOL for OPINION CIATTI / Salone del Mobile 2014

The SHOE STOOL will be exhibited by Italian Furniture brand OPINION CIATTI at the SALONE INTERNAZIONALE DEL MOBILE 2014.

The SHOE STOOL was designed last year by Koichi Futatsumata for a fashion brand based in Fukuoka Japan “FUJITO” as a limited edition item for its 10 year anniversary. With changes in specifications, the stool will be re-released by OPINION CIATTI. Prior to the release, the prototype of the SHOE STOOL by OPINION CIATTI will be launched and exhibited as part of their new collection. The stool will be exhibited in the main venue Fiera, and the show room of OPINION CIATTI located in the center of Milan. If you happen to be in Milan, please stop by.

Mark-ing exhibition in London

Within the exhibition an example of contemporary work by each of the 16 designers(8 UK, 8 Japanese) is presented alongside a ‘fragment’ of their consciousness in the shape of a single object; through this the exhibition examines the designers’ inspiration, and the connections between their respective social backgrounds.

Koichi Futatsumata here announces the founding of “KOICHI FUTATSUMATA STUDIO” to represent his furniture/product/object designing activities. “CASE-REAL” will continue on with its projects specializing in interior, architectural design with Futatsumata and his elite partners.
