Mark-ing exhibition in London

Within the exhibition an example of contemporary work by each of the 16 designers(8 UK, 8 Japanese) is presented alongside a ‘fragment’ of their consciousness in the shape of a single object; through this the exhibition examines the designers’ inspiration, and the connections between their respective social backgrounds.

Koichi Futatsumata here announces the founding of “KOICHI FUTATSUMATA STUDIO” to represent his furniture/product/object designing activities. “CASE-REAL” will continue on with its projects specializing in interior, architectural design with Futatsumata and his elite partners. The base(Fukuoka and Tokyo) will be shared and there will be no changes in the address, however individual web-sites/e-mail address/phone numbers will be set.
